NORTHERN SUN DOUBLEHEADER WEEKEND ACTION
For the first time this season UMary plays a Northern Sun weekend road doubleheader when the Marauders visit Augustana and Wayne State on January 10-11. This is the first of two straight conference doubleheader weekends on the road for UMary and the second of five straight weekend back-to-back NSIC games for the Marauders. UMary played back-to-back games three times (including games on three straight days to open the 2024-25 schedule) in the first half of the season but all the games were non-conference contests.

FROM CLOSER TO OPENER
This is the last weekend of the season in the Northern Sun where the women's game is followed by the men's game. Beginning the weekend of January 18-19, the men's game tips off first with the women playing the nightcap.

AFTER THE ACTION
Marauders fans should make plans to stop Buffalo Wild Wings following all home men's basketball contests. With two convenient Bismarck locations and great food and drink specials, it's easy to see why Buffalo Wild Winds is the preferred post-game hangout of Marauders Basketball!

LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders opened the 2025 calendar year with a pair of losses at home… UMary opened a weekend doubleheader with a 90-49 loss to Minnesota State University, the defending NCAA Division II national champions. Alex Mattes led the Marauders with nine points… the weekend wrapped up with a 60-47 loss to Winona State. Kevin McGaskey led the Marauders with 13 points and Jeremiah Jones added 10. The 60 points was the fewest allowed by the Marauders in NSIC play since holding Winona State to 59 in January 2023.
