MOORHEAD, MN – Under the lights in Moorhead, MN, the nationally 17
th-ranked University of Mary women's cross country team placed sixth out of eight teams at the 9
th Annual Dragon Twilight Invitational.
With the big Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota coming up next week, UMary was without its top 13 runners from the season-opener on Sept. 6. The Marauders were paced by junior
Jazmyn Christen (20:37.9), who placed 37
th overall.
Following soon after were a pair of freshmen.
Amber Rosemeier (20:49.6) and
Giselle Jahner (20:52.0) placed 39
th and 40
th overall. Another freshman duo rounded out the team scoring as
Briley Farris (21:04.0) and Abigail Vlahovich (21:04.0) placed 46
th and 47
th overall. As a team, the Marauders tallied 159 points.

The Marauders will be at full strength for the Roy Griak Invitational next Friday, Sept. 20. Most of the NSIC will be in attendance and the Division II and III women's race will start at 12:15pm.
