WAYNE, NE – The University of Mary women's cross country team raced to a fifth place finish at the Northern Sun Championships on Friday, Oct. 24. Senior
Terez Wycklendt earned All-NSIC First Team honors for the first time in her career with a 5
th-place finish.
Wycklendt paced the Marauders with a time of 22:09.5, her best time in any postseason race over her four years with UMary. Junior
Hannah Westin was the next to cross the finish line, placing 24
th with a time of 23:15.00.
Sophomore
Ellyn Engels followed soon after in 26
th at 23:21.10. Rounding out the scoring were a pair of sophomores, as
Amber Rosemeier placed 34
th at 23:35.80 and
Giselle Jahner in 38
th at 23:41.60.
Overall, the Marauders placed 5
th in the 16-team conference.

Up next for the Marauders will be the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships. The meet will be held on Nov. 8 at the Tom Rutledge XC Course in Joplin, MO.
