FALCON HEIGHTS, MN – The University of Mary women's cross country came away with an 8
th place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational. This year's five point-scorers featured no repeats from last season's top-five.
Terez Wycklendt led the way for the Marauders with a 17
th-place finish, a 56-spot improvement from her results last year. The senior finished with a time of 23:46.1.
In her first-ever cross country race (including high school), redshirt-freshman
Tori Stepka placed 26
th with a time of 24:15.6.
Ellyn Engels followed in 62
nd at 25:11.5, moving up 46 spots from her results last season.
Senior
Hannah Westin clocked in at 25:22.8 to finish 74
th. Rounding out the team scoring was freshman newcomer
Bre Axt in 90
th with a time of 25:42.4.
The Marauders were 4
th out of the 10 Northern Sun schools in attendance.

The Marauders will be back in action in two weeks at the SDSU Classic. Edgebrook Golf Course in Brookings, SD, will be the host site of the meet.
