Marauders take impressive jump to #4 in ACHA MD1 rankings

UNION LAKE, MI – The University of Mary checked in at #4 in the latest 2023-24 American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Men's Division I rankings, an incredible jump of 15 slots from the previous week.
 
The 2023-2024 ACHA Men's Division I Ranking #4, released November 1, switched from a coaches poll to a computer poll.
 
The Marauders enter their Wednesday nights game against #1 Minot State University with a record of 6-2-0-0-1 (W-L-OTL-SOW-SOL). UMary's two losses in regulation came against #1 Minot State and #2 University of Central Oklahoma.
 
UMary is 3-2 against teams ranked in the ACH MD1 poll. The Marauders swept two games against #20 Missouri State, split two games at #2 University of Central Oklahoma, and lost the one meeting with #1 Minot State.
 
In their first year competing in ACHA MD1 after moving up a lever, the Marauders are the highest ranked team in Midwest College Hockey, followed by #8 University of Jamestown.
