INDIANAPOLIS - For the second time in program history, the University of Mary tennis team (9-6, 8-3 Northern Sun) has earned an NCAA Regional ranking.

UMary is ranked 8^th in the NCAA Central Region. The Marauders last regional rankings were in 2014 when they were ranked ninth. UMary is also ranked 75^th overall by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The Marauders are currently the fifth seed in the NSIC. UMary owns the same conference record as MSU-Mankato and Southwest Minnesota State University but drops to the fifth seed due to the other teams having the tiebreaker.

The Marauders challenge MSU-Mankato in the opening round of the NSIC Championships. The winner of the NSIC Championship earns an automatic bid to NCAA Championships.
