JAMESTOWN, ND – The University of Mary tennis team (4-8, 2-4 Northern Sun) picked up their second conference win of the year as the Marauders defeated Winona State University (4-10, 2-3 NSIC) 4-3.
UMary took down doubles competition 2-1, giving the Marauders one team point.
Natalia Jorge Magarzo and
Elizabete Lekse won #1 doubles 6-4 over Lainy Ristau and Izabel Barr.
Anna Sueflohn and
Josie Sueflohn were victorious in #2 doubles, defeating Kate Velander and Ally Burger 6-3.
Brooke Mulholland and
Maja Panganiban were defeated 7-5 in #3 doubles to Nikita Agrawal and Debbie Ogdahl.
Elizabete Lekse impressed in #2 singles, defeating Nikita Agrawal 6-2, 6-0.
Anna Sueflohn earned her second win of the weekend after she defeated Ally Burger 6-4, 6-1 in #4 singles.
Maja Panganiban secured the win for the Marauders when she defeated Kate Velander 6-2, 6-1 in #5 singles.
Natalia Jorge Magarzo was defeated 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 by Lainy Ristau in #1 singles.
Josie Sueflohn fell to Izabel Barr 7-6, 6-3 in #3 singles.
Brooke Mulholland dropped #6 singles 6-2, 6-3 to Debbie Ogdahl.
