The University of Mary baseball team hosts Augustana in a trio of Northern Sun contests on Saturday and Sunday, April 9-10, at Municipal Ballpark. Saturday's doubleheader begins at 1:30 pm. On Sunday the two teams will play a single game slated to start at 12 noon.

FAN ATTENDANCE POLICY
The University of Mary baseball team will play with fans in the stands. Admittance is free to the general public and is limited to the first 100 spectators, including UMary students, faculty and staff... An additional amount of fans will also be admitted if they are on the Family & Friends list submitted by the Marauders baseball program or the Visiting Fans list determined by the opposing head coach… The gates open one hour prior to first pitch… Masking is required for all spectators in attendance regardless of state and local guidance. Additionally, fans must follow all Covid-19 safety, sanitation, and social distancing guidelines.

NO-HITTER
Jonathan Draheim pitched the 4
th no-hitter in Marauders program history against Upper Iowa in a 4-0 win over the Peacocks. After hitting a pair of batters to load the bases in the first inning with one out, Draheim induced a ground ball double play to end the inning. He followed by pitching six straight perfect innings. In the 7-inning complete game he struck out five and didn't allow a walk. The previous three no-hitters in school history were pitched by Roger Wuertz (vs. Graceland College in 1998), Michael Allen (vs. Minnesota-Crookston in 2007) and Shane Trattles (vs. Penn State-Beaver in 2014).

Austin Wagner, a transfer from NCAA Division I Abilene Christian, has had a pair of dominant starts in his three starts this season for the Marauders. For the season Wagner has a 3.77 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP covering 14.1 innings. He has 14 Ks and has allowed just 10 hits.

In four starts this season
Jonathan Draheim has a perfect 4-0 record. The sophomore righthander opened the season with a 3-1 complete game win at Southwest Baptist University, retiring the first 16 hitters of the game… The Marauders won his second start 5-3 at Concordia-St. Paul, allowing seven hits, three runs and one walk in six innings… Draheim remained perfect on the season in a 9-3 win at Winona State, allowing two earned runs, six hits and a walk while striking out seven in a 7-inning complete game… Against Upper Iowa he tossed the fourth no-hitter in school history, striking out five in a 4-0 win… In  four starts Draheim has a 2.00 ERA with a 0.70 WHIP covering 27 innings. He has allowed 17 hits and two walks while striking out 20.

- Ty Jones and Calvin James have both had two-homer games this season for the Marauders to tie the Marauders single-game NCAA-era school record. This has happened just 12 times since 2007. James accounts for two of the occurrences.
- The Marauders blasted four solo shots in the 5-3 win at Concordia-St. Paul. The four home runs are the second-most the Marauders have hit in a game since beginning NCAA play in 2007, bested only by the six UMary hit against Upper Iowa on April 28, 2007.
- Opponents are hitting just .232 off Marauders pitchers, the second lowest mark among NSIC teams behind only Minnesota State (.223).
- In the Marauders last four losses, the opposition scored the winning run in their final at bat of the game

- Andrew Brooks has yet to allow a run this season in eight relief appearances spanning 7.2 innings of relief. Brooks has allowed two hits and has struck out 13.
- Paxton Miller owns three saves this season, including back-to-back saves in the first two wins over USF.

- Ty Jones pitched a gem against Minnesota State, the top offensive team in the NSIC. - Derek Shoen owns a slash line of .278/.375/.556 and an OPS of 931. He has 5 doubles, 2 triples, 2 home runs and 10 RBIs in 15 games. Shoen also has started three games on the hill for UMary and has a 3.68 ERA covering 14.2 innings.
- Calvin James is hitting .344 with a .414 on base percentage and is slugging .656 with a 1070 OPS to lead the Marauders in all four categories. He has 4 doubles, 11 runs scored, 5 home runs and 12 RBIs.
- Riley Schlimm gave the Marauders offence a boost last weekend against the Cougars, hitting a game-winning grand slam in the first win. Over three games he scored six run and drove home six. For the year he is hitting .304/.429/.565 with three doubles and one home run in 23 at bats. Four of his seven hits are for extra bases.

Spencer Gillund returns to anchor the infield at shortstop. The former NJCAA All-American, NCAA Division I transfer and Northwoods League player posted a 905 OPS in limited play last season for UMary. Austin Wagner is UMary's Pitcher to Watch. The lefthander is a transfer from NCAA Division I Abilene Christian, where he was the Wildcats top starter. Wagner ranked 6th in the nation in strikeout—to-walk ratio (22-to-1) and was among the Southland Conference leaders in WHIP (0.81) and ERA (1.96). the Wisconsin native led his hometown Fond du Lac Dock Spiders to the 2018 Northwoods League title… Wagner headlines a deep pitching staff for the Marauders.
