2022 (Senior)
Ty started 43 games for Umary. At the plate, he had one double, one triple, and five homeruns on the season. He started eight games on the mound for the Marauders and led the team in strikeouts with 54. Ty was ranked 60^th in the NSIC for fielding. He also hit two home runs in the opening round of the NSIC tournament to help the Marauders break the single season team record for home runs. Named to the Northern Sun Academic Team of Excellence. 

2021 (Junior)
As a junior, Ty Jones saw action as a starting pitcher and as the teams four-hole while playing center field. Ty got 7 starts on the mound while striking out 34 batters in 29 innings. Ty pitched to a 4.03 ERA. At the plate, Ty hit .285 with 10 home runs, 6 doubles, 30 RBIs and lead the team in stolen bases going 11-12. Ty started 40 of the 41 games.
 
2020 (Junior)
Prior to the season being ended short due to Covid-19 Ty hit one home run in the 7 games he started.
  
PRIOR TO UMARY
2019 (Sophomore at Miles City CC)
Ty started 57 games for the Pioneers blasting 9 home runs, stealing 15 bases and hitting .367 while also going 4-2 as a starting pitcher.
 
Played two years of baseball at Miles CC before transferring to UMary.  Majoring in business. Enjoys hunting and fishing when not playing baseball.

Ty Jones comes to the University of Mary from Wellsville, UT. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing. Jones is majoring in business at UMary.
