However with inclement weather forecast for the morning the start time could be pushed back. Please check GoUMary.com and the Marauders twitter account @umarysports for any scheduling updates.

Austin Wagner was untouchable. The native of Fond du Lac, WI, pitched a perfect five innings, retiring all 15 hitters he faced to earn his first win with the Marauders. With his fastball consistently in the lower 90s, Wagner punched out a season-high eight Bulldogs in the game. He set down two hitters on fly balls and the other five on ground outs.

Mitch Oehme and Anthony Leedle closed out the game for the Marauders with a scoreless inning each. Both recorded two strikeouts. Oehme allowed a hit and Leedle walked a batter, the only baserunners o the game for the Bulldogs.

PIVOT POINT
The game was fundamentally over in the first inning. Wagner needed just three pitches to retire the first two hitters of the game before striking out the third. Two batters later Ty Jones blasted a home run over the left field wall to give UMary an insurmountable lead.
