SIOUX FALLS, SD – After consecutive wins for the University of Mary wrestling team that were decided in the final match of the day, host Augustana made sure the dual was decided much earlier in the Vikings 26-10 win over the visiting Marauders.
In the Marauders previous two outings
Dominic Tudor won the decisive matches at 285 to provide the Marauders winning points in a 19-16 win at MSU Moorhead and a 20-19 victory at Southwest Minnesota State. Augustana stopped UMary's win streak at two with a trio of bonus point wins in the upper weights.

Tate Barnhardt was dominant in claiming a 10-2 major decision over Brayden Curry at 133. Barnhardt, now 23-5 this season, provided the Marauders a 4-3 lead.
Following losses at 141 and 149, senior
Jared Reis earned his third straight win with a 5-0 whitewashing of Bailey Neises at 157. Immediately after
Phillip Springsteen, ranked 11
th in the country at 165, earned a 5-2 decision over Ben Kelvington. Springsteen, who improved to 22-5 overall, provided the Marauders a short-lived 10-9 lead.
The rest of the match belonged to the Vikings as Augie won the next two matches by technical fall and the 197 bout by a major decision.
At 285, Tudor saw his recent win streak snapped with a narrow 6-5 loss to Luke Nohns, dropping his record to 15-9.
After three road matches in a week, the Marauders now return home to host Minot State University on Friday, February 9, at 7 pm in the "Battle for the Barrel" traveling trophy.
