BISMARCK, N.D. – With season-opening games for University of Mary athletics just around the corner, Marauders fans are invited to kick off the year with a Pep Rally on Monday, August 29, in the Scheels parking lot in the Kirkwood Mall. Festivities begin at 6 p.m.
 
Sponsored by Scheels, the Pep Rally is free and open to the public. Fans of all ages are invited to meet the Marauders coaches, play yard games and enjoy free food, beverages and music.
 
Season tickets for fall sports will be available for purchase at the Pep Rally. Additionally, Varsity Club members attending the Pep Rally can pick up their fall sports season tickets during the event. 
 
Marauders volleyball, football and men's soccer all open their seasons over Labor Day weekend.
 
The first UMary home game is set for Sunday, Sept. 4, when men's soccer hosts South Dakota School of Mines & Technology at the MDU Resources Community Bowl. The next UMary home event features Marauders football hosting Augustana on Sept. 10.
 
UMary women's soccer and men's and women's cross country open competition the second week of September. Women's soccer and volleyball both debut at home on September 17.
