MARSHALL, MN – National recognition for a record-setting season by University of Mary outfielder
Isaac Pegors continues as the sophomore claimed a spot on the 2025 NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-America baseball team. Pegors was voted onto the D2CCA 3
rd team after setting team marks for home runs and runs batted in for a single season.
Additionally Pegors was chosen for the 2025 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-Central Region team.
Pegors is the first UMary baseball player to earn D2CCA All-American honors in program history.
The CCA All-America and All-Region baseball teams, which are selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) from schools playing Division II baseball, were first established in 2007. This is the ninth year in which the program is solely sponsored by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.
The Marauders first NCAA All-American baseball player, Pegors was previously announced as a member of the 2025 National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-American squad as a 3
rd team choice.
Pegors is now the second UMary baseball All-American, joining pitcher Ryan Astle who earned NAIA All-American honorable mention honors in 2002.
The Bismarck, ND, native is one of only nine underclassmen named to the D2CCA All-American team out of 48 players selected to the first, second and third teams. He is also one of just four Northern Sun players to earn D2CCA recognition.
With the ABCA/Rawlings honor, Pegors has now been selected to a trio of All-Central Region teams this season. He was already recognized by D2CCA and NCBWA.
The ABCA/Rawlings teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. II All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-America teams will be announced on Friday, May 30. Only First Team All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors.
This is the second straight season a UMary player earned a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings team.
Mark Schommer was chosen as the first team relief pitcher in 2024. Additionally Mike Feldman was a 2
nd team ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region choice in 2007.
Previously this spring the Legacy High School graduate became the first UMary baseball player selected as the Northern Sun Player of the Year. He is also UMary's first baseball player to earn a first team nod on both the NCBWA and D2CCA All-Central Region squads.
The All-NSIC 1st team outfielder bashed 18 home runs and drove in 65 runs during the 2025 season. Over the course of 47 games he hit .398 with a .492 on base percentage and a slugging percentage of .795 for an OPS (on base percentage + slugging percentage) of 1.287. Among his 64 hits were 10 doubles. He also scored 42 runs and stole four bases.
In addition to his impressive numbers at the plate, the Bismarck, ND, native didn't commit an error in the field, posting a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000 with 73 putouts and two assists while playing right field.
Prior to postseason play, Pegors led the NSIC in home runs, slugging percentage and OPS and finished in the top four in batting average, on base percentage and RBIs. He had two walk-off hits, including a grand slam to clinch a playoff berth for UMary. He reached base in 45 of 47 games, posted hits in 36 games and registered 20 multi-hit games.
In NCAA Division II (though May 18), Pegors ranks 19
th in home runs/game (.38), 20th in RBIs/game (1.38), 20th in slugging percentage, 27
th in home runs and 60
th in batting average.
