Harmon, Pastian headline Marauders efforts at Blue Hawk Games

DICKINSON, N.D. – A pair of freshmen led the University of Mary women's track & field efforts at the Blue Hawk Games. Hosted by Dickinson State University, Jackie Harmon and Kylie Pastian both claimed titles and second place finishes for the Marauders.
 
Pastian claimed victory in the long jump and was second in the triple jump. The Hillsboro, N.D., native sailed 5.50 meters to win the long jump. She then posted a mark of 11.23 meters to take second in the triple jump.
 
Harmon's win came in the 1,500 meter run with a second place finish in the 800 meter run. The middle distance runner from Fargo, N.D., ran the 1,500 in 4:51.45 to edge teammate Savannah Childers. Harmon then was clocked in a time of 2:29.32, good for second in the 800.
 
Jasmyn Garcia also had a solid day for the Marauders, who had a split squad with several squad members competing in California. The sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada, was fourth in the long jump (4.93 meters) and sixth in the triple jump (10.44 meters).
