Tampa, Fla.—The University of Mary tennis team fell to Division I NJCAA Hillsoborough Community College on day two of its Spring Break trip Tuesday morning. U-Mary (5-2, 4-1). U-Mary claimed won two of three doubles matches, but dropped four of six singles matches.
 
The tandem of Hallie Welk and Kate O'Connell came through once again for the Marauders winning their seventh consecutive match at second doubles.

Welk and O'Connell got the Marauders on the board with their win at second doubles with an 8-2 win. The duo is now a perfect 7-0 on the season. Anastasia Bruss and Meredith Holt also improved on their perfect record. The newly pair team is now 4-0 at third doubles.

At first singles Welk came away with a 6-2, 7-5 win to improve to 4-3 on the season. Kate O'Connell picked up U-Mary's other singles win an a hard-fought victory at sixth singles. O'Connell lost 4-6 in the first set and battled back to win 6-4, 10-8 to move to 4-3 on the season.

U-Mary will take on Eckerd College tomorrow at 1 p.m.
