This Week: Hoping to avoid a headache from all the turkey, the University of Mary Women's Basketball team opens up their Northern Sun Conference schedule when they host Minot State University on Saturday, Nov. 29.
The Records: The Marauders are 2-4 after splitting the four games they played in the previous week. U-Mary has wins over Canadian Mennonite University but lost to Valley City State University and University of Nebraska Kearney. Minot State is currently sitting on a 5-0 record to begin the season. The Beavers defeated BYU-Hawaii, University of Hawaii at Hilo, and Presentation College the previous week and owns victories over Valley City State and Dickinson State University earlier in the year.

Last Week: The Marauders paid a visit to Valley City, N.D., to take on the Vikings of Valley City State University early in the week, but unfortunately the road game turned into a hard fought battle and the Marauders eventually lost.
Brittney Dietz led U-Mary in scoring with 22 points and
Hannah Larson proved to be effective in many phases of the game with eight rebounds, five points, and five assists. Then the Marauders played back-to-back games against Canadian Mennonite University on Friday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22. Dietz led all scorers again with 15 points but saw limited action as the Marauders cruised to a 105-46 victory.
Sloan Turner narrowly missed her second double double of the season with nine points and nine rebounds in the game. The Marauders took to the court against the Blazers the following day and won in convincing fashion 94-46. Dietz earned a day of rest but
Gabby Wilkinson stepped up in her place with 21 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Tori Mahaffie helped as well with 14 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Unfortunately the winning streak was snapped when the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers came to Bismarck on Sunday, Nov. 23 and defeated the Marauders 94-84. Dietz conintued to prove her prowess with 31 points on 12-of-21 shooting. Larson earned her first double double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds and
Dani Clarke provided some spark on the offense with 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting from beyond the arc.
History: The Marauders dropped both games to the Beavers in 2013-14 and both teams won on the road in 2012-13. Historically speaking, the Maraduers hold a 45-29 advantage in the series, going all the way back to the NAIA days.
Next week: The Marauders head out on the road to take on Northern State University on Friday, Dec. 5, and Minnesota State University Moorhead on Saturday, Dec. 6.
