BISMARCK, ND – A historic season by
Bergan Kinnebrew continues as the Bismarck, ND, native was named to the D2CCA Women's Basketball All-American Second Team and a WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches' All-American honorable mention.
Kinnebrew becomes the first Marauder to make the D2CCA All-American Second Team. Lexie Schneider was previously named a D2CCA Honorable Mention All-American for the 2023-24 season. She is the fourth UMary student-athlete to be named to earn WBCA All-American Honorable Mention honors, joining Brittney Dietz (2016), Cassie Askvig (2019), and Lexie Schneider (2024).
Kinnebrew was second in the nation in scoring, averaging 22.4 ppg on 45.4% shooting from the field. She leads the nation in free throws made (247) and attempted (282). The Bismarck, ND, native set the NSIC single-season record for free throws attempted and made during conference play.
Kinnebrew was named the NSIC North Player of the Year and earned her second NSIC First-Team All-Conference honors. She was also placed on the All-Central Region First Team by the D2CCA.
She led the conference in scoring, was 4
th in assists per game (3.9 apg), 4
th in free throw percentage, 8
th in minutes per game (33.8), 8
th in steals per game (1.9 spg), 12
th in field goal percentage, and 20
th in rebounding (5.7 rpg). She helped lead UMary to an NCAA era record of 23 wins.
