Last week the Marauders dropped a pair of conference games. First up for U-Mary was a rematch with Bemidji State. Earlier in the season, the Marauders came back from 0-2 to win the match 3-2. This time around U-Mary did not fair as well as they were swept. Rounding out the weekend, U-Mary took on Minnesota Crookston. The Marauders dropped the first set, but came back to win the second to the tie game at 1-1. U-Mary dropped the final two sets on their way to a 3-1 loss.

This week U-Mary will host their final game of the season against Minnesota State University Moorhead (11/1). This will be the first time the two teams have met this season. The Marauders are 0-5 against the Dragons in the past three seasons. U-Mary will round out the weekend on the road against Northern State University on Sunday (11/4). The Marauders have not beaten NSU in the past three seasons.

RAISING AWARENESS: The Marauders will use their final home game of the season to help raise awareness for stomach cancer. U-Mary has been doing various fundraising activities this week to help raise money for the cause. The Marauders will also take time prior to the game to honor the mother of Julie Paradine. Paradine, a member of the volleyball team last year, lost her mother this summer after a battle with stomach cancer.
