The University of Mary volleyball team will hold a Cancer Awareness night on Thursday, November 1, the Marauders final home game of the season. The primary focus is on stomach cancer to honor Mona Paradine, who passed away last summer. Mona is the mother of former U-Mary volleyball player
Julie Paradine.
On game night the Marauders will wear periwinkle (the color for stomach cancer) and fans are encouraged to follow suit. Prior to the 7 PM game with MSU Moorhead, we will show a presentation
Julie Paradine sent to us that she created from her mother's funeral about stomach cancer. The American Cancer Society will also be at the match providing information.
