BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary volleyball team (2-8, 0-2) Northern Sun) could not overcome Bemidji State University's (10-0, 2-0 NSIC) attack, falling in three sets (25-16, 25-14, 25-15) at home.
UMary recorded 25 kills on a .102 hitting percentage, while BSU posted 51 kills on a .433 hitting percentage. The Marauders had 24 assists and one ace, while the Beavers had 48 assists and four aces.
BSU held a 17-14 lead in the first set. The Beavers then won eight of the last ten points to take down the set 25-16. The Beavers went on an 11-1 run in the second set to help secure a 25-14 victory for the away team. The third and final set saw BSU jump out to a 9-3 lead and cruise to a 25-15 win.
The match finished with the Marauders recording two blocks and 31 digs. The Beavers posted eight blocks and 39 digs.

Dani Highum had seven kills in two sets on a .286 hitting percentage.
Judith Burke had seven kills and seven digs.
Norah Thome posted a team-high nine digs.
Maddie Beaudrie recorded 12 assists in her first collegiate match.
Gabrielle Reynolds put up six kills.
Natalie Boehmer added 11 assists.
Ruby Rengo had four kills on a .429 attack percentage.
