Alexis Jacobs was named to the Runza Classic All-Tournament team after leading the Marauders volleyball team to a 3-1 tournament run. The Bismarck, N.D., sophomore totaled 65 kills on the weekend, averaging 3.61 per set, hit at a .245 clip and made 39 digs and 11 total blocks. She opened with 13 kills and nine digs in a four set loss to host Nebraska Kearney. Jacobs followed with 17 kills, 12 digs and 1.5 blocks in a 3-2 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She posted a career-high 24 kills and 11 digs as U-Mary rallied from two sets down to defeat Illinois-Springfield 3-2. Jacobs closed the tournament 11 kills, seven digs, 2.5 blocks and three aces in a 3-1 win over Chadron State College.
