This week's NDPF Female Athlete of the Week is Reese Wishart. Wishart played a major part in the UMary Women's Basketball team's comeback victory over Minot State on Saturday 59-54. Trailing by 14 at one point in the third quarter, Wishart spearheaded the Marauders offensive attack that overcame the Beavers lead in the fourth. Wishart led the game in scoring with 17 points while shooting 70% from the field. She also collected four rebounds and three assists. This marks the second consecutive game where Wishart led the Marauders in scoring after a career-high 21 points on December 10 against Minnesota Duluth. Wishart is a senior forward from Buffalo, MN.
