The University of Mary Marauders

This week’s NDPF Female Athlete of the Week is Andrijana Fundak from the UMary Women’s Cross Country team. Fundak was one of a handful of Marauders who had excellent times at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota. 

Fundak’s 4th place finish in the Women’s Maroon 6k race was fueled by major strides and improvements over the course of the race, crossing the finish line in 22:24.2. Teammates Alyssa Becker and Kristine Kalthoff finished 3rd and 11th respectively to propel the Marauders to an impressive runner-up finish out of 37 teams competing in the race. 

Fundak is a junior from Richland, WA.
