The University of Mary Marauders

This week's NDPF Female Athlete of the Week is Alyssa Becker. In the Marauders first home cross country meet in eight years, Becker dominated the Mystics-Marauders Invite Friday afternoon. Becker was all alone when she crossed the finish line at 17:28.6, winning the individual title by nearly 40 seconds. Andrijana Fundak also had a big day. She placed second in the field of 36 with a clocking of 18:15.1. The Marauders had three more runners in the top 11. Kristine Kalthoff (19:03.4) just edged teammate Victoria Noland (19:03.7) for 9th place. Kiran Green (19:04.2) placed 11th to round out the scoring as the three Marauders finished less than a second off each other's times. Becker and her teammates' efforts propelled UMary Cross Country to the team crown at the Mystics-Marauders Invite.
