This week's NDPF Female Athlete of the Week is Kaleigh Carmichael. Carmichael had a historic week for the Marauders Golf team that earned her Northern Sun Women's Golfer of the Week, a first time honor in program history. Carmichael finished third overall at the Yellowjacket Fall Invitational in Billings, MT on October 4. Carmichael shot an 80 in the opening round before firing a 77 in round two. She finished 13 over par and her strong performance in the final round allowed her to move up five spots on the leaderboard. Carmichael is a junior from Williston, ND and wins this award two weeks after her sistern Carrie was named Female Athlete of the Week on September 26.
