Carrie Carmichael is this week's North Dakota Petroleum Foundation Female Athlete of the Week. In her first season with the Marauders, Carmichael is off to an impressive start highlighted by her performance this past week at the Marauder Invitational. Carmichael pulled out to an early lead on day one at Hawktree Golf Club, when she posted an 82 to finish 10 strokes over par. Day two at Riverwood proved even better for the freshman as Carmichael shot a second round score of 78 for a combined total of 160, earning her the title. The Marauders knocked off 13 strokes from their day one total to easily claim victory in the three-team tournament.
