2020
Logan competed at 133, 141, and 149 this season, where he earned a 3-7 record. Logan recorded one pin on the year. He took 8th place at the Jimmie Open. Mahoney also reeled in academic honors; NWCA Academic All-American, All-Academic NSIC, Division 2 Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, and 2019-20 Outstanding Student in Civil Engineering. Logan also earned a UMary Wrestling End of the Season Award, he was voted the Student-Athlete Award for his effort in the classroom.

2019
Logan earned a 4-4 record at 133 pounds during his redshirt freshman campaign that featured pins in all four of his wins. Logan performed well in the classroom, earning NWCA Academic All-American Honors.

2018
As a redshirt, Logan finished as Runner-Up at the MSU-Moorhead Open, and Earned a 7-7 record with six falls and 20 takedowns.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
Son of Jari and Jim Mahoney, Logan attended Parkston high school in South Dakota. Logan became a state champion as a senior, but also state runner-up as a junior in 2016 at 120 pounds… He shared in team success as a three-time team state champion. Logan was a six-time state placer earing a 183-53 career record. He also competed in cross country. Logan was a member of the National Honor Society, Boys State, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Catholic Youth Organization, was named to Excellence Roll, and earned an Academic Team Award. Logan will study Civil Engineering at the University of Mary.
