2017-2018
Jakob recorded an 8-5 record earning six bonus point victories due to his 10 four point nearfalls. Jakob placed 5th at both the Jimmie Open and Dragon Open. Jakob's highest finish of the season came at the Cobber Open, where he placed as runner-up.?
 
2016-2017
His redshirt sophomore year was plagued with injuries, before breaking his ribs and ending his season he was able to go 2-1 overall with 5 takedowns. One of his wins came against Shane Sheppard which helped the team win the conference dual meet against Minot State.
 
2015-2016
In the 2016 season he went 9-9, accumulating 18 takedowns and 4 falls at 149 pounds. With his 4 falls he earned second all-time at the University of Mary in falls per season. He finished his redshirt freshman season going 2-2 at the Super Region 3 Tournament.
 
2014-2015
Redshirted during the 2015 season he wrestled unattached at two open tournaments, competing at the 149 pound weight class. During his red shirt campaign he composed a 2-3 overall record, accumulating 7 takedowns. During the semifinals of the Finn Grinaker open he suffered an injury which halted his redshirt campaign.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
Wrestled for four years, played football for 3 years and competed in track for four years at Clark High School. Earned an All-State award in football and placed in state for wrestling three times. Holds the record for career wins, season wins, and career pins at Clark HS. Made honor roll four times, member of the National Honor Society, and earned an Academic All-State award in wrestling. Jakob is attending U-Mary to pursue a degree in Math Education.
