In Marriann’s senior year with the Marauders, she played 10 games and started one in the year totaling 122 minutes on the pitch.

2021 (Junior)
In her junior year Marriann played in 8 games and totaled 100 minutes on the pitch. Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2021 SPRING (Junior)
Competed in 3 countable contests. Earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence Honors.

2019 (Freshman)
In her freshman year Marianna played in 4 games for the Marauders.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
Marriann Senftner, a Bismarck, ND Native played as an attacking midfielder for Saint Mary’s Central High School. Senftner earned several honors during her playing career, WDA All-Conference Team 2017, 2017 USA Cup Champion, 2017 Pride of the Rockies Classic and Showcase Champion, 3 year starter through three seasons, and 31 career points through junior season. She played club soccer with Dakota United Soccer Club.

When asked why she chose the University of Mary, Senftner said “I chose UMARY because, I felt at home as soon as I visited. I am also bought-in and impressed with what the women’s soccer program has to offer. UMARY will be the right fit for me to advance myself in my education, faith life, and soccer career.”
 
Personal
Senftner is the daughter of Tom and Kari Senftner, she also has a brother Brit Senftner. Marriann is majoring in Pre-Med/Biology.
