2024 (Senior)
Captain during the 2024 season. Appeared and started in 18 games for UMary. Recorded one goal and one assist. Scored in the Marauders 1-1 draw against St. Cloud State. Grabbed an assist in the Marauders 3-0 win over Northern State. Logged 1,463 minutes of game time, while playing a full 90 minutes five times. Recorded 12 shots with four of them being on goal.

2023 (Junior)
Started in all 21 games… Earned second team All-NSIC Honors… Was fourth on the team in total minutes (1713)… Scored two goals and distributed two assists… Helped lead a Marauders defense that kept 10 clean sheets.

2022 (Sophomore)
In Ava’s second year with the Marauders, she played and started in all 19 games for the Marauders, totaling 1491 minutes on the field. Vizenor’s defensive role contributed to 9 shutouts.

2021 (Freshman)
In her first year for the Marauders Ava played in 19 games and started in 13 of them. She totaled 1301 minutes on the pitch.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
Ava Vizenor played her club soccer for Boreal FC and River Valley, while also competing for Big Lake High School in her hometown of Big Lake, MN. She also plays basketball for Big Lake and likes to watch the US Women's National Soccer Team with Rose Lavelle as her favorite athlete. Ava is a six-time varsity letter winner, a three-time all-conference selection, a three-time all-conference academic selection and a 2019 President's Cup champion.

Personal
Ava is the daughter of Alina and Mark Vizeno and has a younger sister, Josa.
 
When asked why she chose UMary, Ava responded: "I choose UMary because of the amazing coaches, players, and staff. I also fell in love with how beautiful the campus is and how friendly everyone was."
