Appeared in all 19 games and started 18 of them. Scored her first collegiate goal of her career against Northern State in a 3-0 victory. Earned her first collegiate assist against Emporia State in a 3-0 victory. Helped lead the Marauders defense to 11 clean sheets. Recorded 1,502 minutes of game time, including playing a full 90 minutes in six games.

2023 (Junior)
Appeared in all 21 games and made 12 starts… Logged 1160 minutes… Helped the Marauders defense keep 10 clean sheets.

2022 (Sophomore)
In Sophia’s second year with the Marauders, she played in 17 games and started in 8 totaling 827 minutes. Her defensive role contributed to 9 shutouts.

2021 (Freshman)
In her first year with the Marauders Sophia played in 16 games and started in 13 of them. She totaled 927 minutes on the pitch.

High School
Sophia Lange joins the Marauders from Big Lake, MN. Sophia plays defense for the Boreal FC and Big Lake High School. During her club soccer and high school career, she earned all-conference honors and won the USYS President Cup. A supporter of the US Women's National team who especially looks up to Crystal Dunn, Sophia enjoys fishing, gardening, and knitting.

Personal
The daughter of Becky and Craig Lange, Sophia has two younger brothers, Owen and Andrew.
 
When Sophia was asked why she chose UMary: "The University of Mary is the perfect size for what I was looking for; they offered my major, they have a great and established soccer program, and I loved Bismarck when I visited."
