PRIOR TO UMARY
2018 – 2019 (Senior Year at Black Hills State)

Redshirt for XC
Coming off of a year long injury, Fried ran the 800m Leg on the 6th place DMR at NCAA DII Championships. He set a new Indoor PR in the 1,000m of 2:27 and Mile of 4:12.07.

2016 – 2017 (Sophomore year at Black Hills State)
In cross country, Fried placed 80th at the Roy Griak XC invitational. He ran the 1200m leg on 9th place DMR at NCAA DII Championships. He set Indoor school records in the 800m (152.61) & the 600m (121.04). Fried was 3rd place in the 800m at the RMAC Indoor Championships and received All-RMAC 2nd team honors. His Outdoor PR’s were 1:52.51 for the 800m &
3:54.81 for the 1500m.

2015 – 2016 (Freshman year at Black Hills State)
As a freshman at Black Hills State University Fried was 57th at the Roy Griak XC invitational where his team won the team title. At the conference meet in Alamosa, Colorado Fried was the 8th runner on the team that eventually placed 13th at the national championships. In track, Levi was the 800m leg on the 3rd place DMR at NCAA DII Championships, the Runner up in the DMR at the RMAC Indoor Championships, and was 3rd place in the 4x400m relay at the RMAC Indoor Championships.

High School
In high school, Levi was a four Sport athlete in cross-country, Basketball, Wrestling, and track. In wrestling Levi was ranked number one in the state multiple times at different weight classes. His senior year he finished as the Alaska 4A 132 lbs State Runner Up. In cross country, he was a 2x All-State runner, placing 4th his senior year and helping his team win the state title. He finished his cross country season with a 16:09 5k PR. On the track, Levi was a 4 time 4x800m state champion setting the Alaska State record of 7:51 in 2015. He was the 2013 800m State Champion and 2014 State Runner up. In 2015, he ran his PR of 1:53.49. He also finished 5th in the 1600m his senior year with a PR of 4:17.
