The EDC Cross Country Senior Athlete of the Year for Fargo North High School, Jackie Harmon was also a part of a state champion relay team in 2013. Four times she earned EDC all-region cross country honors, was the team's rookie of the year in 2009, the squad's hardest worker in 2013 and the team's most valuable performer three different seasons (2011-13-14). In track Harmon closed out her high school career with a fourth place finish at state in the 800 meter run, took ninth in the 1600 meter run and 6^th in the 4x800 meter relay. Harmon was part of the state champion 4x400 meter relay team in 2013. She also won the EDC 4x4 championship in 2012, was the regional champion in the 800 meter run and the 4x800 meter relay in 2013, and holds the school record for the mile run. Her track efforts earned Harmon team most improved honors in 2013 and MVP recognition in 2014. She has posted career-best marks of 15:27 in the 4,000 meter run, 2:20 in the 800 and 5:17 in the 1,600 meter run. A member of the Key Club and the National Honor Society, Jackie is the daughter of University of Mary alumni Valerie and Howard Harmon and intends to major in speech pathology.
