2018-2019
Cross Country
Junior year at Mary. Wilke was a member of the Marauder Cross Country squad that finished 6^th place at the NSIC Championship.
 
Indoor
Indoors Wilke competed in the 1000 meter and the mile run for the Marauders. He posted his best time in the 1000 at the SDSU Classic, running 2:33.71. At the same meet he ran his season best of 4:24.40 in the mile. At the conference championships, Wilke placed 6th in the mile and was a part of the DMR team that was runners-up, while running a provisionally qualifying time and breaking the school record in 10:08.17. Wilke was the NSIC Elite 18 Award winner for the indoor season.
 
Outdoor
During the outdoor season, Wilke competed in the 1500 meter run. He ran his personal best time at the Ron Masanz Classic of 3:59.27. 
 
2017-18
Sophomore year at Mary. Wilke was a member of the Marauder Cross Country squad that finished 4^th place at the NSIC Championship.
Indoors Wilke competed in the 800m run indoors for the Marauders. He was a part of the 4x800m relay team that broke the school record in a time of 7:49.36 and turned in a season best of 1:55.15 in the open 800 at the SDSU Indoor Classic. He placed 6th individually in the 800m and ran on the 5th place DMR team at the conference championships, where the team finished 2nd. Wilke, Lucero, Olson, and Myers also teamed together to run a provisionally qualifying time in the DMR at the 2018 Stinger open.
Outdoors Wilke competed in the 1500m run for the Marauders with his best time coming at the South Dakota Invite in 4:05.14.

2016-17
Outdoor
Competed at the NSIC Championships in the 800m. Posted season best times of 1:56.69 at the Al Bortke Open in the 800m and 4:06.59 in the 1500m at the Al Cassell Relays. 
 
Indoor
Competed in the 600m and 800m during the season. Ran a season best of 1:24.21 in the 600m run and a personal best time of 1:54.47 at the UND Tune-Up in the 800m run. Competed in the 800m and 4x400m relay, helping the team to a 7th place finish in the 4x400m relay.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
Graduate of St. Mary's High School in Bismarck, ND. Played football, basketball, and ran track at St. Mary's. Was selected as a two time All-State safety and was part of two state championship football teams. Won the state 800m run as a senior, running 1:56.61. Also placed 4th in the 1600m run at the 2016 state meet. Son of Matt and Kim Wilke, Sam is majoring in Biology.
