UMary men’s track and field sees improved marks, school record at UMary Last Chance

BISMARCK, ND – University of Mary men's track and field hosted the UMary Last Chance meet on Saturday, May 2. Multiple NCAA provisional marks were hit by the Marauders at the meet.

The most notable win came from Sean Erickson, who crushed his school record in the Discus with a 55.95m throw. That bumps him up from 20th to 8th nationally.

Logan Wentz notched a personal best in the Long Jump with a 7.45m leap. As a result, he moved up from 40th to 24th nationally.

Prithviraj Chougule won the 100m at 10.59. Xavier Ifill was victorious in the 200m at 21.63.

Will Mickelson took home the win in the High Jump at 1.95m. Jake Hettinger hit a 16.32m throw in the Shot Put and is currently ranked 7th in the NSIC. Amir Graham earned his first career victory in the Hammer Throw with a 47.96m.

Up next for the Marauders will be the NSIC Championships in Duluth, MN. The meet will last from Thursday, May 7, to Saturday, May 9.
