WATERLOO, IA – Easter weekend will be a busy one for University of Mary men's golf. The Marauders will compete at the Upper Iowa Invite, held at the Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, IA, on April 3 and 4. Then on April 6 and 7, UMary will take part in the Augustana Invite at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, SD.

In Iowa, Lucas Schoepp, Quinn Breidenbach, Payton Hiller, Ryker Landers, and David Thomson will represent the A team. The B team consists of Aiden Knodel, Lucas Greenlun, Evan Booth, Dawson Melbo, and Kristian Knodel.

LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders place 12^th on March 24 at the NSIC Conference Preview. Lucas Schoepp was the top scorer for UMary, finishing in 23^rd with a 149 (+5).

LAST TIME IN IOWA
UMary placed 8^th at last year's Upper Iowa Invite behind Gavin Argent's 5^th place finish. Returners Lucas Greenlun (31^st), Aiden Knodel (42^nd), and Evan Booth (63^rd) rounded out the scoring for the Marauders.

LAST TIME IN SIOUX FALLS
UMary closed out the spring season last year with a 5^th place finish at the Augustana Invitational. Gavin Argent and Quinn Breidenbach both finished top-5 individually. Evan Booth finished just outside the top 10 with a 12^th-place finish.

LOOKING BACK
UMary is coming off its most successful season since 2007, finishing 6^th at the NSIC Championships. Junior Evan Booth was brilliant, finishing in sixth place overall and one stroke away from All-Tournament honors. As a result, Booth was named the Marauders' NSIC Athlete to Watch for this season.

PRESEASON POLL
UMary was picked to finish 9^th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches Poll. The team's personnel is largely consistent with last years, with the main difference being All-NSIC golfer Gavin Argent moving to an assistant coaching role. Argent had five top-5 finishes last season and led the scoring efforts for the Marauders throughout the season.

The other four NSIC point scorers (Booth, Quinn Breidenbach, Lucas Greenlun, and Aiden Knodel) are back this season.

NEW FACES
The Marauders added five freshmen to bring the roster's total players to 19. Payton Hiller, Ryker Landers, Zach Skarperud, Hunter Steeves, and David Thomson are all set to compete collegiately for the first time.
