BURNSVILLE, MN – After a dominant scoring performance last weekend,
Bergan Kinnebrew was named NSIC North Division Player of the Week. Kinnebrew has been the NSIC North Player of the Week three times this season, becoming the only player in the conference to do so.
The Bismarck, ND, native dropped 40 points, one short of tying her career-high, in a 76-66 victory over the University of Minnesota Duluth. Kinnebrew shot 9-of-17 from the field, 1-of-2 from three, and a remarkable 21-of-22 from the free-throw line. She also had five rebounds, two assists, and one block.
Kinnebrew followed up by scoring 22 points and dishing out four assists in an 85-54 win over Bemidji State University. She shot 7-of-12 from the field and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line.
Kinnebrew leads the NSIC in scoring, averaging 22.5 ppg on 46.2% shooting from the field. She is second in the NCAA in total points and third in points per game. Kinnebrew set the single-season free-throw record with 203 made from the charity stripe, surpassing Lexie Schneider, who had 201 in the 2023-24 season.
