BURNSVILLE, MN – After scoring an impressive victory at 165 pounds against a nationally ranked opponent, Lane Ewing was named the Northern Sun Wrestler of the Week.

The Douglas, WY, native earned the biggest win of his career after he won a 4-2 decision over #7 Brody Hemauer in a road dual against Parkside. Ewing scored a takedown in the first period and showcased great defense to preserve the win against the All-American.

Ewing is 10-2 in duals this season, with a 6-1 record against NSIC competition. This is Ewing's second time winning NSIC Athlete of the Week honors after having earned it on November 12, 2024.

The Marauders next matchup is on the road against Minnesota State University Moorhead on Friday, February 6, at 7 pm in Moorhead, MN.
