ABERDEEN, SD – The University of Mary women's basketball team wraps up the 2025-26 regular season this weekend. The Marauders travel to Aberdeen, SD, to take on Northern State University on Thursday, February 19, at 5:30 pm. UMary then hosts the University of Jamestown on Saturday, February 21, at 2 pm in the McDowell Activity Center.

THE RECORD
UMary is 21-8 overall and 14-6 in the NSIC. The Marauders are currently ranked second in the NSIC North standings and fourth in the overall conference standings.
SENIOR DAY
The Marauders will honor
Cassie Erickson for her contributions on and off the court at the University of Mary during halftime of the men's basketball game against the Jimmies on Saturday. Erickson, a four-year senior, has appeared in all 29 games this season and is averaging 4.1 ppg and 2.2 rpg off the bench.

CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT
The Marauders are guaranteed a spot in the 12-team 2026 NSIC Women's Basketball Tournament. UMary can finish no lower than 6
th with two games left in the regular season. The top four teams in the standings each receive a first-round bye. The Marauders are currently fourth in the conference standings and are two games ahead of Southwest Minnesota State University and Winona State University.
LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders went 1-1 on the road last week. UMary fell 76-69 in overtime to Minnesota State University Moorhead, but came back to defeat the University of Minnesota Crookston 87-68.
Allison Undlin was a perfect 10-of-10 from the field to score 20 points against the Golden Eagles.
Emily Jaenke dropped 21 points, knocking down a season-high seven threes against UMC.

Bergan Kinnebrew is second in the NCAA in points scored (594) and third in points per game (22.0). Kinnebrew leads the nation in free throws made (207). Emily Jaenke has knocked down the most threes (57) on the Marauders on a team-best 46% from behind the arc. She leads UMary in scoring off the bench, averaging 7.9 ppg. She ranks 13

Eden Fridley leads the team in assists per game (4.0) and assist/turnover ratio (1.8). Fridley is 4th in total assists (115) in the NSIC, 2nd in assist/turnover ratio, and 4th in assists per game.

Northern State University is 15-11 overall and 10-10 in the Northern Sun. The Wolves are 3rd in the NSIC North standings and 7th in the overall conference standings. Senior guard Izzy Moore leads the team in scoring (19.0 ppg), rebounding (6.7 rpg), and assists (2.8 apg). Senior forward Megan Counts is second on NSU in scoring, averaging 8.3 ppg on 52.6% shooting from the field. Freshman guard Lily Klein ranks second on the Wolves in rebounding, averaging 6.1 rebounds per game.
OPPO RESEARCH – UJ
The University of Jamestown is 7-17 overall and 5-15 in the Northern Sun. The Jimmies are tied for 7th in the NSIC North standings and are in a tie for 15th in the overall conference standings. Freshman forward Allie Berns leads the team in scoring, averaging 15 ppg on 51.2% from the field. Sophomore forward Jessika Lofstrom leads UJ in rebounding, averaging 6.4 boards per game. Freshman guard Haidyn Crockett leads the Jimmies in assists (38).
KINNENBREW 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Bergan Kinnebrew reached the 1,000-point milestone in an 83-79 overtime win over the University of Sioux Falls. She becomes the 24
th Marauder reach that 1k milestone and the 12
th to do so in the NCAA era. Kinnebrew currently ranks 18
th all-time in UMary history with 1,181 career points.

COACHING STAFF
Rick Neumann enters his 14
th season as the head coach of the UMary women's basketball program. Last season, Neumann passed Fred Fridley for second all-time in program wins last season. He achieved his 200
th win on 11.7.2025 against MSU Billings.
Haley Froelich enters her second season as the Marauders assistant coach. Froelich served as the assistant coach at Clarke University for the 2023-24 season, where the Pride went 29-3 and made it to the second round of the NAIA tournament.
KINNEBREW NAMED PLAYER TO WATCH
After being named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference First Team last season,
Bergan Kinnebrew was announced as the UMary women's basketball Player to Watch for the 2025-26 season.
Last year, Kinnebrew led the team in scoring, averaging 15.5 points per game. The Bismarck, ND, native shot 38.8% from the field, 35.2% from three, and 84.4% from the free-throw line. The junior ranked 9
th in the conference in scoring, 2
nd in free throw percentage, 16
th in three pointers made per game, and 23
rd in steals per game.
MARAUDERS PROJECTED TO FINISH 6
TH IN THE NSIC
The NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll projected the Marauders to finish 6th in the conference this season and 2
nd in the NSIC North. Last season, UMary finished tied for fifth in the NSIC during the regular season and was knocked out in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.
