Box Score SIOUX FALLS, SD – The University of Mary tennis team (0-3, 0-2 Northern Sun) lost 6-1 on the road against the University of Sioux Falls (1-3, 1-1 NSIC).

UMary fell 2-1 in doubles competition, giving the Cougars one team point. Elizabete Lekse and Josie Sueflohn won #1 doubles 6-4 over Sofiya Janos and Chloe Siegfort in #1 doubles. Maja Panganiban and Natalia Jorge Magarzo dropped #2 doubles 6-4 to Ella Hancock and Sydney Osburn. Brooke Mulholland and Anna Sueflohn lost in #3 doubles 6-1 to Athena Franciliso and Emma Rangel.

Elizabete Lekse grabbed her second win of the season in #2 singles, defeating Sofiya Janos 3-6, 6-0, 1-0.

Natalia Jorge Magarzo battled hard in #1 singles but would lose 6-3, 7-5 to Chloe Siegfort.

Josie Sueflohn fell 6-1, 6-1 to Sydney Osburn in #3 singles.

#4 singles saw Anna Sueflohn drop a 6-2, 6-2 decision to Ella Hancock.

Maja Panganiban lost a close match 7-5, 6-1, to Emily Thinnsen in #5 singles.

The contest ended with Brooke Mulholland falling 6-3, 6-1 to Mylin Lemke in #6 singles.

The Marauders travel to St. Cloud, Mn, to take on St. Cloud State University on Friday, February 20, at 3:30 pm.
