BROOKINGS, SD – The University of Mary men's track and field team put together 15 top-10 finishes at the SDSU Classic. The Marauders' preseason track athlete to watch,
Xavier Ifill, had his best performance of his sophomore campaign.
Ifill achieved an NCAA provisional time of 21.53 in the 200m Dash, which catapults him from 13
th to 2
nd in the NSIC in the event. He was the runner-up at the meet and is now 42
nd in the nation.
Dawson Hawkinson placed 4
th at 21.81, a season-best effort for the senior.
Ifill, Hawkinson and the 4x400m Relay team of
Nathan Andrews and
Colby Fleck improved on the Marauders' season-best time in the event with a 3:17.78.
Kenny Moxey Jr. placed 5
th in the 60m Hurdles with an 8.35. He's currently 9
th in the conference in the event.
Lucas Kupfer led the way for UMary in both the High Jump (5
th, 2.00m) and Triple Jump (7
th, 13.58m).

UMary will be home for one final meet before the NSIC Championships as the team will host the Marauders Tune-Up this Saturday, Feb. 21.
