D2 Baseball selects Pegors to 2026 preseason All-American team

BISMARCK, ND – University of Mary outfield Isaac Pegors is a member of the 2026 D2 Baseball Preseason All-American first team, adding to the junior's list of career accolades.
 
Pegors, who was previously announced as the Northern Sun's Baseball Preseason Player of the Year, was named to a pair of All-American teams last spring after a record-breaking season.
 
D2 Baseball selected their preseason All-American team from players who competed in NCAA Division II baseball in 2025.
 
Pegors smashed 18 home runs and drove in 65 runs to set school records last spring. The Bismarck, ND, native led the NSIC in slugging percentage (.795) and OPS (1.287) while hitting .398 with 10 doubles and scoring 42 runs in 47 games on his way to becoming the 2025 NSIC Player of the Year, a program first.
 
The UMary right fielder was selected as a 3rd team All-American by both D2CCA and NCBWA, making Pegors the Marauders first NCAA All-American and the second All-American overall in program history. The Legacy High School product also received All-Region honors from CCA, ABCA/Rawlings and NCBWA and was selected to the All-NSIC first team.
 
Additionally Pegors is the first UMary baseball player named to the Academic All-America first team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
 
UMary opens the 2026 season with a 4-game series at Rogers State University in Claremore, OK, on February 6-8.
