BISMARCK, ND – Homecoming 2025 has arrived at the University of Mary with a full weekend slate of Marauders athletics. Soccer, volleyball, men's and women's cross country and football compete at home with Marauders Hall of Fame inductions and an athletic luncheon adding to the festivities.
 
Friday, October 10
The Marauder Luncheon opens a packed weekend on Friday, October 10. The luncheon begins at 11:45 am at Chick's Place in the Lumen Vitae University Center on the UMary campus and features Voice of the Marauders Dan Doherty interviewing football coach Shann Schillinger, swim & dive coach Abby Loel, men's basketball coach Darren Tighe and women's basketball coach Rick Neumann. The cost is $15 with no charge for Armada members at the Officer lever and above.
 
UMary soccer returns from a 4-game road trip to host Wayne State College. The Senior and Parent Recognition game kicks off at 4 pm.
 
The UMary men's and women's cross country teams host the Marauders Open at McDowell Dam. Start time for the women is 4 pm with the men to follow at 4:45 pm.
 
Marauders volleyball looks to pack the MAC with a 6 pm match against the University of Minnesota Crookston.
 
Friday wraps up with the 2025 University of Mary Alumni Recognition and Hall of Fame Banquet. Hall of Fame inductees include All-American and National Champion Dakota (Wolf) Hayes (women's cross country/track & field), All-American Ben Jacobson (men's track & field), football's all-time leading rusher and three-time all-conference player Jamal Lomax (football), and the 2011-12 women's basketball team, the first team in program history to make the NCAA tournament. (NOTE: The Alumni Recognition and Hall of Fame Banquet is an invitation-only event.)
 
Saturday, October 11
Homecoming Saturday opens with tailgating starting at 12 noon at the MDU Resources Community Bowl north parking lot.
 
On campus at 1 pm, Marauders volleyball hosts MSU Moorhead in NSIC action.
 
The homecoming football game between UMary and MSU Moorhead kicks off at 2 pm at the Marauders and the Dragons fight for the Battle for the Paddle trophy.   
 
Sunday, October 12
UMary soccer closes out Homecoming 2025 when the Marauders host Augustana University. The Faculty Appreciation Day game is set for 1 pm.
