BISMARCK, ND – It was a great day at McDowell Dam for the University of Mary women's cross country. The Marauders won the meet with several athletes putting together standout performances.
Tori Stepka tops that list, placing 2
nd at the meet with a new PR of 22:14.3.
Hannah Westin followed in 6
th at 22:39.6.
Amber Rosemeier set a PR with a 22:45.6, placing 8
th.
Ellyn Engels was right behind her in 9
th with a time of 22:51.8. Rounding out the team scoring was
Giselle Jahner in 12
th at 22:58.1.
Another notable result belonged to freshman
Faith Jepchumba, who was making her home debut. The Kenyan freshman placed 17
th in her second career race, finishing with a time of 23:55.3.

The Marauders will be back on the course in two weeks for the NSIC Championships. The meet will be held at the Wayne Country Club in Wayne, NE on Oct. 24.
