BISMARCK, ND – It was a great day of action for the University of Mary men's track and field team as several Marauders won individual events at the Marauders Tune-Up.
Michael Cartwright won the 60 with a time of 6.97 seconds. Following Cartwright were
Dawson Hawkinson (7.10), Timothy Grisso (7.22) and
Waddel Shakespeare (7.26), who finished second, third and fourth.
Ethan Schaffer took home the 5000 after recording a time of 16:58.43.
Logan Wentz was victorious in the long jump with a mark of 6.71 meters.
Charles Tomczik took third with a mark of 6.42 meters.
Ty Allen won the triple jump, posting a mark of 13.61 meters.
Sean Erickson took down the weight throw with a mark of 14.60 meters.
UMary's next competition is the 2024 NSIC Indoor Championships, which takes place in Mankato, MN, beginning on Friday, January 23, and concluding on Saturday, January 24.
