BISMARCK, ND - The University of Mary Women's Track & Field team dominated their home finale to the 2023 outdoor season, taking ten event titles and the team championship with 178 total points.
Morgan Hertz stood out for the Marauders with two NCAA provisional qualifying marks as a part of the 4x100 relay team and with a career-best mark in the 400-meter hurdles.Â
Hertz won the 400-meter hurdles by clocking at 59.97. The junior from Mott, ND hit the NCAA provisional mark by 2.36 seconds and beat her old best time by 0.42 seconds. Hertz was just 0.34 seconds shy of the program record set by Julia Hammerschmidt in 2019.Â

Arianna Passeri won the 4x100 meter relay and hit another NCAA provisional qualifying mark with a time of 46.72 seconds. That time is now the Marauders best on the season and hit the provo mark by 0.01 seconds. The quartet's time was 0.88 seconds shy of the program record set in 2012.Â
Tia Horning put forth a great effort in a trio of events. The junior from Zap, ND won the 100-meter hurdles with a career-best time of 14.56 seconds. Horning also claimed 2nd in the long jump (5.26 m) and 3rd in the javelin (31.11 m).Â
Grace Acheson led an orange and blue sweep of the 400-meter dash. The senior from Northfield, MN won with a career-best time of 58.01 seconds.Â
Nicole Kramchynsky reeled in a pair of event titles in the shot put (12.19 m) and the javelin (40.05 m).Â
Arianna Passeri claimed the title in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.94 seconds.Â
Sakena Massiah took the 200-meter title with a winning time of 24.47 seconds.Â
Antonia Genet won the high jump by clearing 5' 3" in the fewest attempts. The senior from Land O' Lakes, FL needed just her first attempt to clear the bar at that height.Â
Jessica Goetz claimed the hammer throw title (41.25 m) and 2nd in the discus (36.86 m).Â

- Jerrica Pachl finished 2nd in the high jump (5' 3", third attempt)

- Anna Rader finished 3rd in the high jump (4' 7") and 4th in the 100-meter hurdles (16.94 seconds)

After earning the team championship in their home finale, UMary Track & Field will have a quick turnaround for their final meet before the NSIC Championships on May 11-13. The Marauders will head to Fargo for the NDSU Tune-Up this Friday, May 5 beginning at noon.Â
