Carrie Carmichael topped the University of Mary leaderboard at the Midwest Fall Classic in the Marauders final meet of the fall.
Carmichael shot an opening-round 84 on Monday at the Monzingo Lake Golf Course, the best by UMary on either day. The freshman followed with an 89 for a 2-day total of 173. She finished 43
rd overall out of 98 competitors on the 17 teams.
Tying for the Marauders best round on day two with an 87,
Kaleigh Carmichael fired a 93 to open the match and carded a 180 total o place 66
th.
Grace Stroh had the Marauders 3rd best total (93-92 | 185).
Abby Thelen posted an 87 on day two to tie for the Marauders 2
nd best round and finished with a 187 overall.
Alli Hulst (100-98 | 198) rounded out UMary's efforts.
As a team the Marauders improved 15 shots from day one (370) to day two (355), moving up a slot in the team standings and finishing with a score of 725 to place 15
th overall.
