GUNNISON, CO –The University of Mary wrestling team (4-0) is excited to compete in the Tracy Borah Duals, hosted by Western Colorado University, on Saturday, January 8. UMary competes in three duals, starting with New Mexico Highlands University (10 am CT) before taking on Colorado State University Pueblo (11:30 am CT) and Western Colorado University (7 pm CT).

National Rankings
UMary is ranked 20
th according to the most recent NWCA Division II Regular Season Poll. The Marauders have four wrestlers that are nationally ranked.
Reece Barnhardt is ranked eighth in the 133-pound weight class.
Braydon Huber is ranked eighth for the 157-pound weight class.
Max Bruss is ranked ninth in the 174-pound weight class.
Matthew Kaylor is ranked 12
th for the 197-pound weight class.

The Marauders showed their dominance against Dickinson State University, winning 44-9.

About the Opposition
Colorado State University Pueblo has competed in several wrestling tournaments this season. CSU Pueblo's last tournament was the Bob Smith Open, where freshman Cyruss Meeks won the 141-pound weight class championship.
New Mexico Highlands University is 3-4 in duals this season. Isaac Garcia has been one of the standouts for NMHU. Garcia went 2-1 at the Desert Duals, including a pinfall victory over Ottawa University Arizona's Justin Wood at the 0:37 mark.
Western Colorado University has begun the year with a 1-2 record in duals. Sammy deSeriere placed third in the Midwest Classic, the highest finish for any Mountaineer. As a team, WCU finished tenth at the Midwest Classic.
Returners
Coming off an All-American season last year,
Braydon Huber was named the University of Mary wrestling team's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Athlete to Watch. Huber earned All-Conference honors after finishing eighth in the NCAA Championships at 165 pounds.
Max Bruss also qualified for the NCAA Championships at 174 pounds but fell just short of All-American status, losing two matches by just one point.
Other notable returners include Dom Tudor and
Matthew Kaylor, who both placed at the NCAA Division II Super Regional V tournament.
New Faces
The Marauders bring in eight freshmen who will look to make an immediate impact in the 2021-22 season. Those nine include
