DICKINSON, ND – The University of Mary men's golf team was victorious in their dual against Dickinson State University as
Alex Wilson took home first place. UMary shot 305 as a team defeating DSU, who had a team score of 313.
"Overall, I was pleased. We have great momentum going into the Hardrocker Invitational this weekend," head coach
Michael Herzog said.
Wilson earned his first collegiate as the Bismarck, ND, native shot an even-par 72 for the day.
Gavin Argent finished in second place after shooting 76 in the freshman's second collegiate contest. Bennett Persoon placed in a tie for third after he shot a 77 for the dual.
Cody Brunner came in a tie for eighth place after posting an 80 on the day.
Logan Barrett finished in 12
th place after posting a score of 84 for the dual.
Completing the Marauders lineup was
Jackson Gilchrist, who came in 15
th place after shooting a 90 on the day.
Next up for the Marauders is the Hardrocker Invitational on September 20-21 at Rapid City, SD.
