BILLINGS, MT – The University of Mary finished the 7
th annual Rimrock Classic in Memory of Trevor Wildeberger with a split. After shutting out Black Hills State University on Thursday, the Marauders closed out the Rimrock Classic with a 2-0 loss to host MSU Billings on Saturday in UMary's third and final nonconference game of the season.
An early season rematch, the Marauders and the Yellowjackets had played to a 1-1 draw earlier in the week on Labor Day in UMary's home opener.
In a tightly played opening half the Yellowjackets struck first, scoring the only goal they would need in the 24
th minute when Lexie Bloyder found the lower left corner of the net.
Homestanding MSU Billings finished off the scoring in the 58
th minute by Liberty Palmer, who also scored in the lower left corner.
Eight different Marauders accounted for the eight UMary shots in the game with four on target. The Yellowjackets fired 13 shots with six on frame. The Marauders finished with a 3-2 edge in corner kicks but were whistled seven times for fouls to six for the Yellowjackets.

In the middle of a 6-game road trip, the Marauders (1-1-1 overall) next open their Northern Sun schedule at St. Cloud State University on Friday, Sept. 17.
